Challenge

To create a brand for the internal democratic committee formed as part of Waitrose’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Approach

Our involvement included brainstorming the name – Getting things done together – crafting the typography and designing an icon to support the message. We created a strong and positive logo which was applied with great flexibility and consistency across the organisation.

Viewed differently by different people, the symbol is seen as a wheel, a flower, a sun and consistently reflects the concept of working together.

Result

The logo has been applied across Waitrose and also in other areas of the John Lewis Group.
